Matthias Paul
Global Managing Director, Managed Solutions
Matthias Paul is Global Managing Director of Interactive Data Managed Solutions. He is responsible for leading the strategy, business development and business management of our solutions serving a wide range of clients including media portals, online brokerage firms, and the wealth management market. These solutions include Prime Terminal, Market-Q, Prime Portal, and Prime Developer.
Prior to joing Interactive Data, Matthias Paul held a variety of Managing Director positions at Dow Jones & Company. He was part of Dow Jones' European leadership team, overseeing a wide spectrum of B2B information businesses. Matthias also worked as Director of Corporate and Business Development at vwd AG, a Germany-based data vendor. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group focusing on strategy projects in the financial industries.
Matthias holds several University degrees including an MBA from Aston Business School (Birmingham, England), a PhD and MSc from Edinburgh University (Scotland) in Artificial Intelligence, and an MA from Universitaet Bielefeld (Germany) in Philosophy and Mathematics.
